Ingredients
- 2 cups of water
- 1/2 stick of Unsalted Grassland Butter
- 1/4 cup of packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 1/8 teaspoon of salt
- 2/3 cup of your favorite dark rum
Instructions
- Bring water, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt to a boil in a 2 quart saucepan over medium-high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer, whisking occasionally for about 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in rum.
- Serve hot.
