Preheat the air fryer to 400°. Cut potatoes into very thin slices. The thinner you slice the potato, the crispier the chip will be. Transfer to a large bowl.
Spoon the melted butter on top of the potatoes in a bowl. Sprinkle it with salt and pepper. Place the slices in a single layer on the air-fryer basket.Cook the potatoes for 10-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Cook until they are golden brown and crispy.
If your air-fryer chips are not crunchy, throw them back into the fryer to cook longer until chiplike crispiness is reached.
